As we all gather around the table today, may we all take the time to be grateful for all that we have, begin new family traditions as we share old ones, and think of those who cannot join us due to illness, work or has gone before us.
One of the things we are grateful for this year is this new addition to the family. Meet our grandson, Zeke. He is the biggest blessing the family was given late last year. It is amazing how this once little bundle of joy has brought so much happiness to each one of us these past few months. He is now an active 11 month old who loves to sing (hum), watch Moana, Sesame Street and Mickey Mouse Club House; read books (well, being read to) and “cook” in his toy kitchen! He is always smiling and loves to listen and dance to a good beat. He loves to eat sausages, eggs, pancakes, and pretty much everything, except lemons:-). He gives the sweetest hugs that can melt the hardest hearts.
Check out this work of art! Zeke made his first place mat. I loved it when our daughters made these when they were little. My heart is full to see his version. I wish I had kept the ones that his mom made when she was 2:-)
